Myles Borne To Apologize To Tavion Heights, #1 Contender’s Match, More Set For 9/15 WWE NXT

Myles Borne to issue a public apology to Tavion Heights.

It was at NXT’s 2026 Heatwave Premium Live Event that Myles Borne and Tavion Heights lost the NXT Tag Team Championship, and later that night, Borne also lost the North American Championship.

After the second title loss, Borne turned on his partner, Tavion Heights. Days after Heatwave, Borne issued a public apology to Heights, and on the 9/8 NXT, Borne attempted to approach Heights after a loss in a North American Title match. It would later be made official that Borne would apologize to Heights on the 9/15 NXT.

There was a six-man tag team main event on 9/8 that saw Mason Rook, Tony D’Angelo, and Saquon Shugars defeat Cruz Montana, Keanu Carver, and E.K. Prosper. With that win, Rook, D’Angelo, and Shugars will meet in a Triple Threat match on 9/15 to determine the next challenger to Grayson Waller’s NXT Championship.

Below is the updated lineup for the 9/15 show:

  • Myles Borne to issue an apology to Tavion Heights
  • Kali Armstrong vs. Lizzy Rain
  • DarkState (Osiris Griffin & Cutler James) vs. Sean Legacy & Dorian Van Dux
  • Triple Threat #1 Contender’s Match: Mason Rook vs. Tony D’Angelo vs. Saquon Shugars (Winner faces Grayson Waller for the NXT Title)
