Claudio Castagnoli To Face Shingo Takagi At NJPW Destruction In Kobe
Claudio Castagnoli is returning to NJPW.
At NJPW Road to Destruction on September 9, Claudio Castagnoli appeared on the screen to answer the challenge of Shingo Takagi.
The two will clash at NJPW Destruction in Kobe on September 27.
“You want me to come to Kobe? I’d be happy to! But if that happens… it looks like your slump will continue, doesn’t it? Know your place, kid. I’ll show you who’s stronger in Kobe,” said Claudio.
Shingo blamed Claudio for his poor record in the G1.

This will be Claudio’s first match in Japan for NJPW since Wrestle Dynasty 2025 when he lost to Shota Umino.
