Yuki Iino Explains Decision To Finish Up With DDT & Transfer To NOAH

Yuki Iino explains his decision.
A press conference was held in early September to announce that Yuki Iino’s contract with DDT Pro-Wrestling is expiring in November 2026, and once that wraps up, he’ll transfer to Pro Wrestling NOAH full-time.
Iino came over to NOAH to reunite with Manabu Soya for the NEO Global Tag League tournament. The duo went on to win the tournament and are currently the GHC Tag Team Champions.
NOAH’s website pushed out an interview with Iino, and he explained why he’s making the jump.
“My biggest wish is to team up with Soya-san more as a tag team called Passion MAX (tentative name). Another reason is that, as a heavyweight, I want to face even more strong, powerful opponents. There are big guys in DDT too, but I want to compete as a heavyweight among NOAH’s big guys from my generation—like (Yoshiki) Inamura and all the other wrestlers there.”
Both Iino and Manabu Soya are competing in the 2026 N-1 Victory tournament, which starts on September 12th. Iino is in the A block, and Soya is in the B block.
