WWE Releases T-Shirt To Pay Tribute To ‘Historic SmackDown Taping’ After 9/11

WWE releases a T-shirt to remember the “historic” WWE SmackDown taping after 9/11.

On 9/11, the company released a WWE Remembers T-Shirt to serve as a “solemn reminder” of the September 13, 2001, SmackDown taping. This T-shirt features 11 stripes on the American flag instead of 13.

Full item description:

“In one of sports entertainment’s most poignant moments, the WWE Universe united for the first public assembly in the nation following the events of September 11, 2001, and you can pay tribute to that powerful solidarity with this WWE Remembers T-Shirt. This commemorative tee serves as a solemn reminder of that historic SmackDown taping, an evening that provided a beacon of resilience for a country in mourning. Featuring a reverent screen-printed graphic on comfortable 100% cotton, this top allows you to join the WWE in its annual tradition of honoring the victims, first responders, and the unyielding spirit of America. In remembrance of the 25th anniversary of September 11th, WWE will donate all net proceeds directly to Tuesday’s Promise. Offer applies to purchases of the WWE Remembers tee made on this site from September 11, 2026 through September 13, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. ET.
