Kenny Omega: For My Big Matches, I Always Try To Think Outside The Box

Making an appearance on The Anime Effect Podcast was two-time AEW World Champion Kenny Omega.
The conversation shifted to Omega’s mindset when it comes time to prepare for his marquee bouts, and here’s what he had to say:
“I always do the best that I can but I do try to go outside the box when the option’s there and for my big matches, absolutely, always try to think outside the box because in my biggest of matches, I think that both myself and my opponent, for the most part, have the best of intentions to make the match as a whole look good rather than just make themselves look good. So I’ve been lucky in that regard.”
Omega’s latest AEW World Title reign clocked out at 53 days. He dropped the belt to Will Ospreay in the main event of AEW All In at Wembley Stadium.
