Lex Luger recalls how a fall the day prior to his WWE Hall Of Fame induction last year prevented his original plans for the moment.

During the 2025 WWE Hall of Fame ceremony, fans were treated to a heartwarming moment where Luger would step up from his wheelchair and would take several assisted steps during his induction. Now, Luger has shared that the plan was in jeopardy due to the events of the day prior.

While speaking to Going Ringside in a recent interview, Lex Luger revealed that he had suffered a fall the day prior to his induction, leading to changes to his plan of wanting to walk all the way to the podium on his own.

“Yeah, I did get up. So that, that was a miracle of God right there. Cause I had fallen the day before. So I was in real bad shape. I was going to walk out. I was going to come out in the chair and walk the rest of the way, but we couldn’t do it because I had fallen out of an Uber car the day before at the Atlanta airport on the cement. So, yeah.”
