On the September 7 episode of WWE Raw, the Vision laid out Oba Femi. At the end of the segment, Bronson put his foot on Oba, who quickly slapped it away. The slap was noticed by many fans and reportedly backstage.
Speaking to The West Sport, Bronson addressed what happened.
“I think you have to remember. I am the top dog. I’m always going to assert dominance, and that’s what I tried to do. He’s very much the same. That’s why he obviously hit my foot off. If people have speculation about these things, then go for it, speculate, but of course both of us want to be number one, and we’re going to do whatever it takes to be number one.
“While I was away for these six months, I made sure to watch and saw the rise of Oba Femi and how much he’s become a big part of WWE. You should always be gunning for the top and if that’s what has happened in the last six months, that’s who I’m targeting.”
