William Regal Encourages Wrestlers To Study Roman Reigns And His ‘Masterful’ Reactions
William Regal has high praise for Roman Reigns.
This week’s episode of WWE Raw was headlined by a World Heavyweight Championship match between Roman Reigns and Penta. Even with a predictable outcome, the match was widely praised as the best match of Penta’s career in WWE.
Taking to social media, William Regal had praise for the match and encouraged wrestlers to study Roman’s performance.
“If any talent of any standard want to really up their quality of drawing in your audience then study in great detail Roman Reigns facials, reacting ( I would say selling but selling is acting and this was in a different world of that ) and body motion from last nights bout against Penta on Raw. Masterful.”

Later on in the day, Regal pointed fans to a specific clip of Roman Reigns vs. Penta.
Look at the range of emotion on Roman’s face through this. He realizes he’s trapped, the looks to Penta just using his eyes while giving a perfect tv shot for the audience watching, then the fear as he knows he is in major trouble and his arm is going to suffer. Perfect reacting… https://t.co/re1zM3EgsE

After that tweet, Regal had some praise for PAC, calling him the best wrestler to come out of England since the 1980s. He also compared Penta/Reigns to Neville vs. Aleister Black.
I’m on a plane going home from Mexico and on it with Pac. 1 of my favorite people in the Wrestling. IMO the best Wrestler to come out of England since the 80’s and they were Rollerball Rocco, Marty Jones and Fit Finlay. That’s no knock on the incredible UK talent around today…
