Raj Dhesi explains the hardest part of being a professional wrestler, noting that the travel and stress related to performing as the hardest parts.
Raj, formerly known as Jinder Mahal, has reached the top of the mountain in pro wrestling, previously holding the WWE Championship in a surprise run with the belt in 2017. For Dhesi, the pressure related to being on the top of the card on live television is one of the hardest aspects of being a performer in the industry.
While speaking to Popternative in a new interview, Raj Dhesi was asked about the hardest part of being a pro wrestler, noting that the travel and stress of performing are the hardest aspects.
“No, the hardest part was the travel. So the hardest part is just the stress. It’s the stress you put on yourself, especially when you’re higher up on the card or you’re on a pay-per-view or a PLE. You’re on Monday Night Raw, millions of people are watching you and you’re on live television and in your underwear, oiled up. What can go wrong? So that’s the most stressful part.”
Elsewhere in a recent social media post, Raj spoke about those who say his WWE title run was a failure. You can read more about that here.
