Wheeler Yuta On ‘Yuta Scale’ Memes: It’s Incredibly Flattering To Be Mentioned In The Same Breath As The Great Muta

Wheeler Yuta is flattered by the memes.

After spilling buckets of blood during his AEW Rampage match with Jon Moxley in 2022, fans joked that Wheeler Yuta should be the new namesake for ‘The Muta Scale’ when it comes to blood in wrestling.

Speaking with Fightful Overbooked’s In The Weeds podcast, Yuta said that he’s incredibly flattered that he would be even mentioned in the same breath at The Great Muta.

“It’s incredibly flattering to be mentioned in the same breath as Muta for anything, even if it just bleeding everywhere. I think that I’m fortunate that our names rhyme, I think that certainly helped the meme a little bit. Yeah, I’m a pretty good bleeder, so I think it’s deserved. I think I just about usurped him, it’s pretty close. Yeah, it does make me laugh everytime I hear someone bring it up.”
