Tony Khan: AEW All Out Is Mocha Joe’s

Tony Khan can curb your enthusiasm.

On Saturday, AEW All Out and AAA x WWE Worlds Collide will both take place in the Chicago area of Illinois, less than an hour away from each other.

The situation is reminiscent of season 10 of Curb Your Enthusiasm, where Larry David opens a coffee shop right next door to another coffee shop, calling it a spite store.

On the AEW All Out media call, Fightful’s Jeremy Lambert asked if All Out was more Mocha Joe’s or Latte Larry’s.

“In this case, I think we would be the Mocha Joe. We’ve been doing All Out there and we were very excited to be back. There is certainly a place for many coffee shops, whether it’s Mocha Joe’s or Latte Larry’s. There are probably times in life where we’ve all been a Mocha Joe or a Latte Larry, in this case probably more of a Mocha Joe,” said Khan.

Latte Larry’s was more successful when it first opened, but it eventually burned down, as did Mocha Joe’s. Joe won a lawsuit and ended up moving in next door to Larry, throwing parties and making Larry’s life even more miserable at his spite house.
