Tony Khan Provides Update On Steven Borden: “He Had A CT Scan & All The Tests Have Come Back Good”
The latest update on Steven Borden.
The 2026 All Elite Wrestling All Out pay-per-view featured a tag team match that saw The Don Callis Family’s Kevin Knight and Kyle Fletcher versus Steven Borden and TNT Champion Darby Allin. The winners would secure themselves a shot at the AEW World Tag Team Championship.
During the bout, Knight and Borden climbed to the top rope on opposite sides of the ring and agreed to clash in the air. When they collided and landed, Borden landed back-first, and his head smacked against the canvas. The match was called off, and Fletcher and Knight were ruled the winners.
It was later relayed by AEW’s commentary team that Borden was transported to a hospital, adding that he was responsive and conscious. During the All Out media scrum, AEW President Tony Khan provided a new update on Borden:
“I have a great update. Thankfully, Steven Borden, awake, responsive at the hospital and he had a CT scan and all the tests have come back good. So far, all good results and we’re hopeful Steven’s gonna be able to fly home tomorrow to his family.”
