Tavion Heights: I Didn’t Know My Best Friend Was A Bum, He’s The Scum Of The Earth

Tavion Heights discusses Myles Borne’s betrayal at NXT Heatwave and the attacks that followed in recent weeks.

Heights and Borne had been allies in WWE NXT for quite some time before Borne would turn on Heights at NXT Heatwave last month. On last week’s edition of WWE NXT, Borne was supposed to apologize to Heights, but would ambush him once again.

While speaking to Going Ringside in a new interview, Tavion Heights was asked about the betrayal.

“I didn’t know that my best friend was a bum. Yeah, I didn’t know that, you know? I had no idea, you know? He can’t go toe-to-toe with me, so he did what he did to my ankle because he knows he can’t go toe-to-toe with me.”

Heights would continue, noting how blindsided he was by the betrayal, noting that Borne is ‘the scum of the earth.’

“This is blindsided, man. You go through all this with a guy, right? You grow through NQCC. You outgrow NQCC. You go on to have matches against the greatest of all time, the Hardy brothers. You do all this, and you believe in your heart that you formed an unbreakable bond, right? You believe that. You and this guy are best friends, you’re brothers, and so I’m thinking all of that in my head while I go out to hear what he has to say because I believe that he might apologize tonight. I really believe that in my heart, and I think what really happened was he just played on that because he knows me and I know him very well as well. So he played on that and he did what he did. The scum of the earth. I don’t know what else to say.”
