Tavion Heights says that getting to wrestle The Hardys alongside Myles Borne was ‘life changing.’
On the February 25th edition of WWE NXT last year, Heights and Borne would face off with The Hardy brothers in a match that would mark a return to WWE for the iconic tag team. While Heights and Borne would come up short, for Heights, it remained a big moment in not only his career, but his life.
While speaking to Going Ringside in a new interview, Tavion Heights was asked about getting the opportunity to wrestle The Hardys, noting that it was ‘life changing.’
“Well, I mean, at the time, it was life changing. I thought that me and Miles were something special. You know what I’m saying? Like, you don’t just go against the Hardys for no reason. You know what I’m saying? Let alone before that match, we’re going to beat these guys. I’m thinking in my head, I’m about to beat the greats and stamp ourselves and create our legacy right here and then. Obviously, that didn’t happen. But still, you come off a match like that, that high in your head, you’re thinking that, you know, you and your tag partner are going to ride it out to the end of times.”
