Willow Nightingale says Mick Foley gave her ‘the most confidence-filling letter’ she could have received prior to AEW All In 2026.
At AEW All In this year, Willow would walk into the pay-per-view as the AEW Women’s World Champion and would face off with Mercedes Mone, even though she came into the event with a broken hand.
While speaking during The Mick And Kenny Show in a new interview, Willow Nightingale reflected on prior to AEW All In, noting that that Mick sent her a ‘confidence-filling’ letter prior to the show.
“I was going to say, this is also a big part of why I wanted to see you and hug you after the match. Because the day before, Mick reaches out to me, and he’s like, ‘I have a gift for you,’ and I was like, ‘I’m not at the hotel. I’m going to be running around.’ He’s like, ‘all right, well, just let me know. I’ll slip this letter under your door.’ I come back, I get this letter, like, handwritten on beautiful, like, paper. He tells me he gave me the Santa treatment. Wonderful calligraphy, and it was just the most kind, heartwarming, and, like, confidence-filling letter I could have received. I actually, I want to frame it and hang it up and put it in my living room. Because it brought tears to my eyes. I was like, I got this. I waited for a moment when I, like, felt calm again. I was like waiting for my dinner to come. So I was just like, it’s really lovely.”
Elsewhere in the same interview, Mick spoke about Willow helping his daughter Noelle train to be a wrestler. You can read more about that here.
