Joe Hendry: I Would Rather Face Matt Cardona In The UFC Than WWE

Joe Hendry says he would rather square off with Matt Cardona in the UFC rather than the WWE if given the opportunity.

Hendry is one of many professional wrestlers who has trained in martial arts, with a legitimate background in combat sports to his name. That being said, if he were to face off with one particular pro wrestler, he would rather it take place in an octagon rather than a wrestling ring.

While speaking to My Mom’s Basement with Robbie Fox in a new interview, Joe Hendry named Cardona as the stiffest wrestler he has worked with in wrestling, noting that if the pair were to square off, he would want it to be in the UFC, not WWE.

“I just have to say, by the way, I think that Matt Cardona is, is very good at what he does, by the way. That said, I would rather face him in the UFC than WWE. So TKO, if you ever want me to face Matt Cardona, it has to be in the UFC.”
