Booker T Says He Almost Teamed With Bad Bunny At WrestleMania 37

Bad Bunny made his in-ring debut at WrestleMania 37, teaming with Damian Priest against The Miz & John Morrison.

According to Booker T, he nearly had Priest’s spot.

“I almost did a tag match with Bad Bunny. It was actually supposed to be me and Bad Bunny as opposed to Damian Priest and Bad Bunny,” Booker said on his Hall of Fame podcast.

Asked why it didn’t happen, he replied, “Certain reasons why. I’m not going to disclose them.”

Asked if he strongly considered doing the match, he replied, “Not strongly enough.”

The multi-platinum musician did a song titled after Booker T, which led him to perform in WWE.

Booker retired from a full-time schedule in 2012, but has worked a handful of matches. His last WWE match came at the 2023 Royal Rumble when he was a surprise entrant in the men’s Rumble.
