Wren Sinclair Feels Crowd Finally Saw Her As An Individual During 10/6 NXT, Thinks They Viewed Her As A Sidekick Or Just Kendal Grey’s Friend

Wren Sinclair is getting her shot.
A Battle Royal closed the 10/6 WWE NXT to determine who would challenge Kelani Jordan for the NXT Women’s Championship.
Wren Sinclair, who was suspended from NXT by General Manager Robert Stone, disguised herself as AAA’s Lady Shani and competed in the match. Sinclair was taken out by Reina Volcan early in the bout via a powerslam to the floor, but she was not eliminated.
She returned to the match to eliminate Kali Armstrong and then revealed her identity. After the bout, Sinclair joined Busted Open After Dark and said the reaction she got for the reveal felt like the NXT faithful finally saw her as an individual.
“Um, kind of,” Sinclair responded when asked if she felt it was the first time that wrestling fans believed in her. “I feel like a lot of them have just kind of pushed me off and called me a sidekick or Kendal Grey’s friend and I felt like today, they finally saw me. I feel like this has been a slow burn. I feel like they really saw me, and it felt good to be seen and to be someone they want to do well. It feels good to have that.”
Robert Stone stated that he would be addressing Sinclair’s win, as she is still suspended from NXT.
Lady Shani reacted to Sinclair’s disguise with a post on Instagram.
