Steve Maclin Reflects On Match With Adam Copeland: Every Star Aligned Perfectly For This Match

Steve Maclin reflects on his recent match with Adam Copeland, noting that he feels he belongs after the match.

At Maple Leaf Pro Wrestling this past weekend, Copeland and Maclin would face off in a Street Fight that would go over 30 minutes, with Copeland coming away the victor after a pair of spears to the former TNA star, one of them through the ropes after a dash down the ramp.

In a new social media post on Wednesday, Steve Maclin would reflect on the bout, noting that by the end, he knew that he belonged.

“I’m glad I have this clip to look back on, because I know exactly how I felt in this moment and I will never forget it. I felt every bit of why professional wrestling is an art form. Every piece of the puzzle. Every star aligned perfectly for this match. A childhood dream of  @RatedRCope to wrestle inside Maple Leaf Gardens, his white whale. And a childhood dream of mine to find out if I truly had what it takes against one of my heroes. I hope I proved that to everyone watching. Because I know I proved it to myself. That I belong.”

Following the match, Copeland stated that Maclin should be the most sought after free agent in wrestling. You can read more about that here.
