Jim Ross Recovering After Second Brain Procedure

An update on Jim Ross.

On October 7, Ross took to Twitter to say, “Getting another brain surgery Wednesday morning to address an issue with my shunt. Positive thoughts appreciated. Thanks”

He originally underwent brain surgery in August.

On Wednesday afternoon, Ross’ podcast co-host Conrad Thompson gave an update from the family:

“I just heard GREAT NEWS from @JRsBBQ’s daughter:

Procedure went well. He is in recovery right now. Will hopefully be heading home around 3.”

Ross has battled health issues throughout the year, which has limited his broadcast time with AEW. He last appeared at AEW Double or Nothing, calling the Jon Moxley vs. Kyle O’Reilly bout.

He was hoping to work AEW All In or AEW All Out, but was unable to appear at either event.

Fightful wishes Jim Ross the best as he continues to recover.
