Karl Fredericks Says Upcoming PRODUCE Match With Gabe Kidd Is His Most Important Match Since Leaving NJPW

Karl Fredericks is looking forward to his match with Gabe Kidd.

PRODUCE Vol. 6, which will be co-produced by The Dogs, is set to feature a singles contest that will pit Kidd against Fredericks. As it turns out, Fredericks is putting a ton of importance on the match.

Speaking with Fightful Overbooked’s In The Weeds podcast, Karl Fredericks said that it will his most important match since leaving New Japan in 2022.

“The most important fight I would say since I left New Japan in 2022, this is the most important fight coming up with Gabe Kidd. It’s gonna tell you exactly what the future looks like for me. There’s a lot of pressure, there’s a lot of weight with certain things.”

Kidd and Fredericks previously shared the ring at a West Coast Pro event in November 2025.
