LA Knight Says He Was ‘Miserable’ A Lot Of Times And Came To WWE Shows Ready To ‘Fight Everything And Everybody’

LA Knight says he showed up to WWE shows in a bad mood.
Speaking with Metro recently, Knight looked back at the conversation he had with Triple H at Money in the Bank 2025.
“I’m just sitting there listening to it, like, ‘Okay, yeah, all right.’ Obviously I’m gonna listen to what’s coming at me.”
Knight told Metro that he looked at things in a “slightly different way.”
“I’m thinking to myself, ‘Well, everything went off pretty much without a hitch, as far as anybody can tell, as far as even I could tell.'”
Knight’s relationship with Triple H is in a “good place,” as noted in the Metro article. The wrestler has also gotten more creative freedom on the microphone.
“We’ve kinda gotten that figured out between me and creative, where it’s like, I’m not the type that wants to have everything mapped out from A to Z. I don’t want the audience to have to think as much. I want them to feel.”
In the interview, Knight said that he was miserable at times and that it spilled into his work life.
“I just try to make sure that once I’m home, it’s focused on, ‘Well now I’m going to hang out with my dogs,’ or ‘I’m going to have a little bit of a social life. I was miserable a lot of times, and needed to fix that. I wasn’t an asshole. But I would show up, and immediately I was in the zone and feeling like I was going in there to fight everything and everybody, and especially the company, I guess.”
He credited Solo Sikoa with helping him deal with this.
“It’s cool just to see him let loose a little bit, so that’s been helpful. We bounce off each other very well.”
Elsewhere in the interview, Knight called his match against Roman Reigns at Money in the Bank a “do or die” for him. Fans can read his full comments here.
