Laynie Luck States That There Was Not Too Much Restriction For Her With WWE ID Contract
Laynie Luck speaks further about the WWE I.D. program.
After 320 days as WWE I.D. Women’s Champion, Laynie Luck dropped the belt to Monica Monroe. Fightful Select would then report that Luck would be heading into free agency as her WWE I.D. deal was not being renewed.
Luck was interviewed by Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp and spoke about her time under contract with WWE. She was asked if there were any restrictions when it came to her independent bookings that WWE was not involved in.
“No,” Luck responded when asked if WWE I.D. came with booking restrictions. “I didn’t feel like there was really too much control or anything. The letters on that belt were very helpful to me and my bookings and it made people finally see me, and then I get there and I’m like, ‘Hey guys, I’ve been here. Just so you know, I’m out here and I‘ve been here.’ Honestly, it was nothing but an upside for me. I didn’t lose anything. I didn’t lose my name. I didn’t lose any bookings. There wasn’t really any beef anywhere with anything… Just a positive. Just a nice, tall platform for me to climb up on to.”
Luck has been wrestling for 11 years. To read her comments about learning that her deal was not being renewed, click here.
