Cody Rhodes: ‘Cozy Rhodes’ Is The Internal Name That WWE Has For When I Am Not In A Suit

Cody Rhodes reveals the internal name that WWE has for when he is on their programming but not wearing one of his trademark suits.

For Cody, it is rare that fans see him on WWE programming without a fine suit when he isn’t wrestling. However, sometimes Cody is seen in casual wear of some form in the way of tracksuits and other outfits. Now, Cody has explained that the company has their own internal name for when he isn’t wearing a suit.

While speaking to Complex in a new episode of Sneaker Shopping, Cody Rhodes was asked if his level of sneakerhead has risen or lowered in the two years since his last appearance on the series, with Cody going on to explain that WWE has their own internal name for him when he isn’t wearing a suit.

“I feel like it’s probably gone, let’s say gone nowhere. It stayed right where it was at. We still need them for, did I introduce you to Cozy Rhodes? Did I mention Cozy Rhodes? Cozy Rhodess is the internal name that WWE has for when I am not in a suit. So if you see me run out in the collection, the sweatsuit, whatever it may be, which I then need the sneaks, that’s how he’s cozy. You’ll hear somebody say, ‘hey, he’s doing cozy.'”

Cody recently explained that a new American Nightmare logo honoring his late dog Pharaoh is in the works. You can read more about that here.
