Bruce Prichard To Undergo Neck Surgery
Bruce Prichard is set for an operation.
During the latest recording of Eric Bischoff and Conrad Thompson’s 83 Weeks podcast, Thompson revealed that his longtime podcast partner, Bruce Prichard, is set to undergo neck surgery.
Thompson stated that Prichard suffered the injury in 1991, but is only now discovering it. He said the injury happened during a taping of WWF Superstars when the Ultimate Warrior attacked Prichard.
“I don’t know that Bruce has revealed it but Bruce has been dealing with a neck injury. It turns out that Bruce is gonna have to have some surgery on that rascal and he hadn’t been having the best quality of life recently. He’s on the mend; he’s doing rehab and all that jazz but, he’s hurting for certain… Do you remember way back when he was Brother Love and the Ultimate Warrior beat him up?” Thompson continued, “He broke his neck and he just found out just recently. All these years later… He’s on the mend. He’s gonna be alright. But keep him in your thoughts and prayers.”
Prichard is part of the WWE creative team. It is not known when he’ll be undergoing the surgery.
