Drew McIntyre: Russell Crowe Got Excited About Us Doing Something Together In WWE
Drew McIntyre might team up with Russell Crowe in WWE.
McIntyre and Crowe recently spent months together filming movies like ‘Highlander’ and ‘The Last Druid’. Since then, Drew has been open about his friendship with Crowe, even recently saying that it was amazing to spend months under his learning tree.
In a new interview with The Joe Vulpis Podcast, Drew McIntyre revealed that Russell Crowe was excited about possibly working with him in WWE.
“Russell was legitimately talking about he wanted to do something a couple of times. He got all excited about us doing something together on the same team and talked about WrestleMania or whatever. He talked about us having a manager, like an assistant lackey. It was more of a heel thing that he was coming up with, he had some great ideas. He was willing to do it. We have to talk with the bosses about the numbers because I’m assuming he’s not cheap [laughs].”
In a separate interview, McIntyre recently said that he’s currently focused on “Hollywood Drew”. Check out his full comments by clicking here.
