Ilja Dragunov Says Bandido Is ‘Straight Out Of A Video Game’

Bandido is in Ilja Dragunov’s sights.

Ilja Dragunov is making the media rounds ahead of his in-ring debut for All Elite Wrestling. He’ll be facing ‘Speedball’ Mike Bailey on the 10/21 Dynamite.

Dragunov appeared on TMZ’s Inside The Ring Podcast and named ROH World Champion and AEW World Trios Champion Bandido as one of the people on the AEW roster who have caught his attention.

“This is also somebody I have been impressed about, like, at all times, is a person like Bandido. What this person is just capable of is just like somebody just straight out of a video game. That is incredible. Some things he makes so effortlessly that I don’t have the capacity to describe that.”

At AEW WrestleDream, it was on that same night that Dragunov debuted, and Bandido, Hangman Adam Page, and Brody King defeated Swerve Strickland and The New Level (Kofi & Austin Creed) to regain the World Trios Titles.
