Michael Hayes Reflects On Experience Filming ‘Agent Of Shadows,’ Recounts Misunderstanding With Assistant Director

Michael Hayes looks back on the experience.

WWE and ReelShort collaborated to put out a film titled ‘Agent of Shadows.’ The cast includes Chase Mattson, Drew McIntyre, Marc Herrman, Jacob Fatu, Joe Hendry, Ethan Page, Royce Keys, Booker T, and Michael Hayes, among others.

Hayes reflected on his experience filming for the movie while he was chatting with Stephanie McMahon on What’s Your Story?.

“I didn’t get a lot of direction but they were very understanding and they let me ad-lib a lot, and I was very thankful and grateful for that. It was quite the experience,” he laughed. “Probably for them more than me.”

Hayes spoke about the Assistant Director and how he was not aware that part of that job requires yelling. Hayes initially stated that he was going to start yelling back at the Assistant Director.

“It was a good time. It really was. It happened quick. I found out something too. The Assistant Director, they yell a lot, and it got to a point where I go, ‘You know, if you yell at me one more time, I’m gonna f*cking yell back at ya…’ Then somebody explained to me, ‘No, that’s his job,’ and I went, ‘Okay. But if he yells at me one more time…” Hayes laughed.

Hayes is 67 years of age and is a producer at WWE.
