Brandon Cutler mocked The Young Bucks for losing via squash for the first time in their careers on last week’s edition of AEW Dynamite.
On last Wednesday’s edition of AEW Dynamite, The Young Bucks (Matt and Nick Jackson) would take on the team of Mark Davis and Jake Doyle just days after retaining their AEW World Tag Team Championships against Kyle Fletcher and Kevin Knight at AEW WrestleDream. However, the champions wouldn’t even get out of the gate, as Doyle and Davis would emphatically defeat The Young Bucks, with the match ending quickly and without The Bucks landing a single move of offense.
In the latest episode of Being The Elite, The Young Bucks would end the episode speaking about the squash match in confusion, not quite knowing how to explain what happened. Brandon Cutler, an expert on losing squash matches, would then step into frame, sitting down with the champions to explain what happened.
“Coming from a lot of experience, what you guys just experienced for the very first time in your careers is a squash match.”
Elsewhere in the same episode of BTE, Matt Jackson joked about the reason for so few updated promo pictures for The Young Bucks. You can read more about that here.
