Monica Monroe Says She Gained A Lot Of Social Media Followers After Booker T Named Her On WWE NXT
Monica Monroe recalls Booker T’s name drop.
Back in July 2025, Booker T mistakenly referred to Blake Monroe as Monica Monroe on an episode of NXT. This moment went viral on social media, prompting a response from Monica herself.
Speaking with Love Wrestling for a new interview, Monroe admitted that she got a lot of social media followers after that moment.
“Yeah, I loved it. Honestly, Booker got me a lot of followers on X from that, just for saying the name.”
Monroe playfully noted that she was the first person in the “Monroe Sisters” to use the last name.
“But now like the Monroe sisters is a thing that’s really popped off. There’s the three Monroes [Me, Blake, & Chantel], everyone wants a faction. I got to say I was the first one though. I was the first. Five years ago, I was Lady Bird Monroe.”
