Orange Cassidy offers up advice to this year’s competitors in the AEW Blood And Guts match set for next week’s AEW Dynamite.
Last year, Cassidy would compete in his first ever AEW Blood And Guts match as he would feature as part of Darby Allin’s team that would face off with The Death Riders inside the double steel cage structure.
While speaking to STL Sports Central in a new interview, Orange Cassidy was asked what piece of advice he would give the other participants in the bout.
“You better hope that the people… that are in there with you on your team, you can trust them and they’re good because you rely heavily, heavily, heavily on your team. So you better have good teammates.”
Cassidy continued, reflecting on not wanting to declare for the match last year.
“Nope. Never did. I, you know, I had to- Mark Briscoe had me declare (for) the Blood and Guts last year. I
did not want to do that, and you can hear it in my voice when I say, because I’d rather not be involved in it. But when you’re friends and the people you’re standing next to shoulder to shoulder with want you to fight, you fight.”
Elsewhere in the same interview, Orange spoke about potentially featuring in this year’s Continental Classic. You can read more about that here.
