Orange Cassidy On Wrestling In Denim: I Don’t Know Why Anybody Would Want To Wrestle In Anything Else

Orange Cassidy explains his reasoning for wearing denim jeans while wrestling, not knowing why other talent don’t wrestle in denim too.

One of Cassidy’s trademarks is the fact that he wrestles in denim jeans, and comes to the ring in a denim jacket. This is a part of his character that sets him apart from many wrestlers, as he foregoes the use of tights or trunks in lieu of being lazy.

While speaking to The Rizzuto Show in a new interview, Orange Cassidy talked about wrestling in denim, noting he doesn’t know why other wrestlers don’t.

“Yeah, it’s like… I don’t know why anybody would want to wrestle in anything else. It’s the most comfortable, durable fabric.”

Orange also explained why he uses a drawstring instead of a belt when wearing jeans.

“Yeah. The future is now with denim. So if you really want it, like, and then when I wrestle in denim, I have like a drawstring instead of a- because you can’t wear a belt. People that wear belts when they wrestle, it’s crazy to me. you want the belt rubbing up against your uh your stomach”
