Report: Shawn Michaels Expected To Step Into Bruce Prichard’s Role

Shawn Michaels will reportedly be moving up in WWE.

According to Mike Johnson at PWInsider, Shawn Michaels is expected to step into Bruce Prichard’s role as executive director when Prichard takes a step back following WrestleMania season.

Michaels currently oversees WWE NXT as the Senior Vice President of Talent Development and Creative.

Prichard is expected to retire as the Executive Director – Creative Writing & Talent after WrestleMania 43, but will remain with the company as a consultant.

The report states, “We are told that this succession plan has been in place for some time and that Michaels will start to prepare for the Prichard role in the months ahead.”
