CJ Perry Says Movie Adaptation Of Her Novel ‘Bulletproof Angel’ Is In The Works

CJ Perry provides an update on ‘Bulletproof Angel’.

The novel, which is set to come out in November, was first announced by Perry in September. In a new interview with TMZ Inside The Ring, the former Lana revealed that a film adaptation is also in the works.

“But also, it is going to be made into a movie. We’re already in the works with it. Very exciting. We’re already starting to work on the packaging. It’s like a James Bond spy thriller. There’s some woman leads, which is really exciting.”

Perry confirmed that she will not be starring in the movie. Instead, she’ll probably have a cameo role.

“No, we’re going to get a bigger actress, like a bigger name. I’m producing it though. I’ll probably get a little cameo because why not, I love acting. But the biggest thing for me as a producer, I want to get names that move the needle, the best actresses. Even though I’m phenomenal, there is people that are better.”

Rounding out the topic, CJ Perry revealed that Rusev will portray a villian in the film.

Elsewhere in the interview, Rusev talked about his current absence from WWE. Check out his full comments by clicking here.
