Paul Wight: Darby Allin Is The Ultimate Babyface

Paul Wight believes that Darby Allin is the ultimate babyface in professional wrestling, noting that he is a ‘huge fan’ of Darby.

Since signing with All Elite Wrestling, one name has continuously come up when Wight discusses the AEW roster, with the multi time world champion often fantasizing about the ways he could toss the current TNT Champion, Darby Allin, around.

While speaking to First Coast Living in a new interview, Paul Wight would label Darby as ‘the ultimate babyface.’

“You’re going to have Darby and Steve Borden on the show tomorrow, and Darby is literally, like, if I was a bad guy again, I want Darby for an opponent. I would sling his guts all over the place. Like, Darby is the ultimate. We have a term in our business called baby face. Darby is the ultimate babyface. I’m such a huge fan of that kid. He is focused on business, incredible character, tough as a coffin nail, and has done so many things outside of wrestling.”

Elsewhere in another recent interview, Wight spoke about learning things from Shaquille O’Neal. You can read more about that here.
