Ethan Page Explains Why He Feels ‘Nothing’ Following WWE Intercontinental Title Win

Ethan Page is the new champion.

On the November 2nd edition of Monday Night Raw, Ethan Page bested Chad Gable to become the new WWE Intercontinental Champion.

After his victory, Page joined Sam Roberts and Megan Morant on WWE Now, and he explained why he felt ‘nothing’ following his title win.

“Look, I feel weird. Mostly because this is the ultimate goal, and now that I’ve achieved it so early and so quickly, it’s skewed, I guess, my view of the future. I don’t know why I thought it would be so hard to obtain this, and then it happened so fast that I feel like I should reassess my goals. Which happens to me a lot in my life, and I think that’s why I feel nothing. Because I know it’s just, like, I’m gonna do something great again, I’m sure. You know what? Actually, I just did an interview with Jackie (Redmond), and I gave her my thoughts, and I had said that it was extremely sad that I never got to witness myself actually win the Intercontinental Championship and I think that actually is the precipice of everything is I don’t actually get to enjoy the journey. I’m the one dragging the cart behind me, kind of thing.”

It is Page’s first title win on WWE’s main roster. He’s held the NXT Title and the NXT North American Championship.
