Grayson Waller got a win over CM Punk.

Closing out the 11/4 WWE NXT on The CW was Grayson Waller defending the NXT Championship against CM Punk.

The match came about after Punk called Waller out following his successful title defense against Tony D’Angelo at the Halloween Havoc Premium Live Event.

During the backend of the Punk versus Waller match, Kevin Owens jetted to the ring to distract Punk. Earlier in the day, Owens was removed from the WWE Performance Center because he was there to fight Punk ahead of the title match.

As Punk was distracted, Waller rolled him up for a pin and got the win.

Punk and Owens’ taped singles match will air on the 11/6 WWE Friday Night SmackDown. Punk will be back in NXT for their holiday house show tour on November 14th (Detroit) and November 15th (Chicago).
