AJ McKee Faces Justin Lawrence At Bellator MMA: Primus vs. Chandler II

A featherweight division affair is set for the forthcoming Bellator MMA: Primus vs. Chandler II card as AJ McKee is in action against Justin Lawrence.

McKee (10-0-0) has spent his entire professional MMA career competing in Bellator MMA, last defeating Brian Moore at Bellator 187. McKee has only seen three of his professional MMA bouts go the distance, while getting the majority of the wins by KO/TKO. McKee won seven of eight fights during his amateur MMA career and that lone loss came to Christian Espinosa in June of 2013.

Lawrence (11-4-0) enters the bout on a two fight winning streak, defeating the duo of Treston Thomison and Andrew Natividad. Lawrence also won just one of three during his UFC tenure, with that lone win coming over John Cofer at the UFC Ultimate Fighter 15 Finale. Lawrence also competed on the UFC Ultimate Fighter 15, making it to the quarterfinals of the reality show before getting defeated by Michael Chiesa.

Bellator MMA: Primus vs. Chandler II takes place on Friday, April 13 from the The Family Arena in St. Charles, Missouri with Brent Primus and Michael Chandler headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which airs live on the Paramount Network.
