AJ Styles Says Raw Takes Smackdown's Stars, But Smackdown Keeps Making Them

AJ Styles doesn't seem to mind Raw taking the stars Smackdown creates.

On this week's episode of Talking Smack, the former WWE Champion appeared and addressed the Superstar Shakeup that send several Smackdown Live talents over to Raw. Despite the new challengers, Styles said he embraces the spot.

"I want that kind of pressure. When the pressure is on, I do better. Pressure makes diamonds," said Styles, who later said that he doesn't even fear Raw juggernaut Braun Strowman before inviting him over.

Styles would take a shot at WWE's flagship program in Raw, saying that they take Smackdown's stars. To his brand's credit, however, "The Phenomenal One" put over Smackdown Live's ability to create new headliners.

"SmackDown makes them, RAW takes them! We make Superstars over here, that's what we do. You try to clean us out, we're going to build somebody up and put them on the spot. If you want a Superstar, this is where (they're) made," said Styles.

Styles is set to take on United States Champion Kevin Owens for the title May 21 at WWE Backlash from Chicago.
