Al Iaquinta Says He Can Beat Kajan Johnson With One Leg

Al Iaquinta returned to action earlier this year at UFC Fight Night 108, defeating Diego Sanchez by first round knockout.

The New York native is currently dealing with a knee injury, but proclaims he can still defeat fellow lightweight Kajan Johnson with just one good leg.

“I don’t know,” Iaquinta said on The MMA Hour. “I think I can still kick the shit out of Kajan Johnson on one knee. I think I could really do it.”

Iaquinta and Johnson recently came face to face at the UFC fighter’s retreat, plus Johnson released a rap song about the fighter a while back.

However, the fighter turned real estate agent doesn’t know if he wants to fight anymore because it throws his life out of structure when he does.

“My life is like the most structured and organized,” he said. “I made more money selling real estate when I had a fight coming up. My diet, everything is good. When I have a fight coming up, I’m like on point. So I get a good schedule, regimen and like nothing matters except for that day when I’m about to fight. Everything works out. I feel like my whole life stops when I fight. I feel like my whole life is just dedicated to fighting. I’m not like evolving.”

Johnson, much like Iaquinta, also recently returned from a lengthy layoff when he defeated Adriano Martins at UFC 215.
