A welterweight division clash is the latest addition to the upcoming UFC 213 card as Alan Jouban will see action against Brian Camozzi.
Jouban (15-5-0) has won three of his last four under the UFC banner, those three wins came over Mike Perry, Belal Muhammad and Brendan O’Reilly. Jouban has a 1-1-0 record on UFC pay-per-view cards, having defeated Richard Walsh at UFC 184 and suffered a defeat to Albert Tumenov at UFC 192. Jouban will also be making his first appearance on a UFC pay-per-view card in almost two years, as his UFC 192 appearance came in October of 2015.
Camozzi (7-3-0) is currently winless thus far in UFC competition, dropping a fight to Randy Brown at UFC Fight Night 102. Brian Camozzi is also the brother of fellow UFC fighter Chris Camozzi, who last competed at UFC Fight Night 109. Camozzi also fought three times in the Resurrection Fighting Alliance, defeating the trio of Tyler Milner, Kenneth Glenn and Nick Barnes.
UFC 213 takes place on Saturday, July 8 from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada with Amanda Nunes and Valentina Shevchenko headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, with a post-show podcast to follow the event.
