Alberto El Patron And Paige Provide Updates On Their Return, Discuss Airport Incident

In the wake of an incident between the two of them at an Orlando airport, both Alberto El Patron and Paige provided updates when they will return to their respective companies.

The couple appeared on the "Busted Open" radio show to discuss the incident from a few weeks back. Paige said that he and Alberto argue "like every couple would" and that they "are laughing about it."

"I don't know why people are making such a big deal about it because we see this every day," El Patron said. "Couples argue and that's what it was. We were arguing. We had a bad day and that's exactly what it was. We didn't say anything when it happened because we were waiting for the official report because these days, it doesn't matter what you say, it matters what you can prove."

As far as her WWE return is concerned, Paige said she is waiting to hear back from her doctor and does not know when she is coming back. Paige has been dealing with neck problems and had surgery about a year ago. Paige has been out of WWE television since then.

"I just had a CT scan and I'll do my next checkup [soon]. Hopefully I return sooner than later. I'm waiting to hear back from the doctor, but I don't have an exact return date yet," Paige said.

El Patron, the current GFW champion, has not been wrestling for GFW since the incident and was suspended indefinitely at the time. El Patron said even though he knew he was innocent, he completely understood why he was suspended and has no issues with the company, but will not appear in the GFW shows taking place in New York.

"I was okay with the suspension. Everything is cleared, everything is cleared with the company. I'm going back to work pretty soon. To be honest, I don't know when that is going to happen. I have been in Mexico doing some pro wrestling shows, but I've been in touch with the important people [of GFW]. We've set a date for the suspension to be probably lifted. I won't be at the live events but I'll be back soon," El Patron said.
