Nunes is extremely confident that she is going to defeat the former champion, something she reiterated to TMZ.

“I’m 100 percent going to beat Ronda Rousey — I’m 200 percent,” Nunes said. “I understand everything Ronda Rousey is going to bring that day. … I don’t think she’s going to be able to deal with my striking. She’s gonna be really surprised when I touch her, when I connect on my punches.”

Nunes talked about the statements some made about Rousey not deserving the title shot in the first place.

“I think it’s wrong (to say she doesn’t deserve it) because she was always the most dominant athlete,” Nunes said. “I think she really deserves that. I know how I’m going beat Ronda Rousey. I’ve been training for Ronda Rousey since my first fight in the UFC.”

Nunes knows the win could affect her future, both inside and outside of the cage.

“This fight is going to change my life, my career,” Nunes said. “I hope she’s ready. I know she’s a very tough opponent, but I’m the best in the world.”

UFC 207 takes place on Friday, December 30th from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada with Amanda Nunes and Ronda Rousey headlining.
