Amateur MMA Fighter Rondel Clark Passes Away Days After Fight

Rondel Clark competed at Cage Titans 35 this past Saturday Night and suffered a third round TKO defeat to Ryan Dunn. The event was streamed lie on Flo Combat.

Three days after that fateful defeat, the amateur MMA fighter passed away three days later at Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital in Plymouth, Massachusetts. This is according to a story from MMA Fighting.

No cause of death has been announced at this time by the Office Of The State Medical Examiner in Massachusetts.

According to reports, the fighter was originally brought to the hospital after his post-fight medical examination. Clark was transported to the hospital by the local ambulance and was alive at the time of his arrival to the medical center.

Timothy Cruz is the Plymouth County District Attorney has announced an investigation into the fighters death. This investigation will include cooperation from the Massachusetts State Police, the Plymouth Police Department, the district attorneys office and the Massachusetts State Athletic Commission (MSAC).

Clark had a record of 1-1-0 as an amateur MMA fighter, with that lone win coming over Jimy Boisvert at Combat Zone 62 earlier this year.
