Former MMA fighter agent and now CEO of the Legacy Fighting Alliance, Ed Soares, says that Gabi Garcia owes money for both rent and utility bills on an apartment that Soares, along with Tough Media partner Jorge Guimaraes set up for her.
Soares took to Instagram to vent his frustrations on the matter. The post has since been deleted by Soares, but here is what the LFA CEO wrote:
“WARNING!!!!! BEWARE OF GABI GARCIA!!! @gabigarciaoficial
This is what happens when you try to help an unethical person rent an apartment!!! She had no place to live and sure enough @jorgeguimaraes and I rent an apartment for her under our company name. So what does she do? She burns us and sticks us with a bill!!! Not only that but she owes Tough Media $4000 for commissions from her fight back on 12/31/15 and almost $3000 in unpaid utility bills. Be careful @titoortiz1999 @criscyborg @rayelbe or anyone else that comes in contact with her!!!”
Garcia currently holds a record of 4-0-0 as a professional MMA fighter, with those victories coming over professional wrestlers Lei D’ Tapa and Yumiko Hotta, plus the other wins have come over Anna Malyukova and Destanie Yarbrough.
Garcia is expected to compete against another professional wrestler in the Alpha Female at the next Rizin event, as the two had a confrontation at Rizin 4 this past December.
