Awesome Kong's time in WWE was relatively short and a match that she wanted while in WWE, one with Beth Phoenix, never materialized, a fact that Kong feels has cheated the fans.
In an interview with Ring Rust Radio, Kong said she wanted to have a match with the WWE Hall of Famer and laments the fact that it never happened. Another match Kong did love to have was against Gail Kim, whose rivalry extended all the way to TNA where the two have feuded for the TNA Knockouts Championship.
"Beth Phoenix and I never happened," Kong said. "The fans have seen Gail and I, and I would always love to face Gail again to bookend our story, but the fans would really love to see Beth and I dance in the ring. That never happened. I feel like the fans were cheated out of that so I would love to do that for the fans and for myself."
Kong competed for WWE as Kharma from 2011-12 and competed in the 2012 Royal Rumble match. Kong spent the last decade of her career in TNA, where she was a two-time TNA Knockouts Champion and former TNA Knockouts Tag Team Champion.
