Batista "Would Have Loved To Have Worked" With Bray Wyatt: "He'd Be At The Top Of My List"

Batista says that he doesn't watch much WWE programming nowadays, but to him, one member of the current roster stands out.

A former six-time world champion in WWE, Batista praised Bray Wyatt during an appearance on the latest episode of Chris Jericho's podcast, Talk Is Jericho.

Batista and Wyatt were both part of the WWE locker room when Batista made his return to the company in 2014 for a run that included headlining WrestleMania 30 in a Triple Threat against Randy Orton and Daniel Bryan.

"I thought he was incredible. I love everything about that kid. I love everything about him, man. I would have loved to have worked with him," Batista said of Wyatt. "He's so athletic. He can go. I love that kid. He can run his mouth, too. And I, personally, just like him. Nothing real pretentious about him. He just wants to go and work and have good matches, and I think he's just super talented. He'd be at the top of my list."

Batista told Jericho that he missed wrestling.

"I miss it a lot," he said. "There's nothing like it. You know. There's just an adrenaline rush that goes along with it. What I don't miss is the company, to be honest with you. I don't miss WWE. I miss wrestling, I just don't miss dealing with the company. There's just too much bullshit."

Batista has pitched WWE on making a return, but the company has shown no interest in his idea, according to him.

Going by his real name, Dave Bautista, Batista has made a successful transition to the acting world. He has reprised his most famous role, Drax the Destroyer, in Marvel's "Guardians of the Galaxy, Vol. 2" which is now in theaters.

Batista apparently did make time to both watch WrestleMania 33, and send Shane McMahon his thoughts on McMahon's match against AJ Styles.
