Bayley is preparing for her first Wrestlemania, and wants to make an impression.
At Wrestlemania 33, She will be defending her women's championship in a fatal four-way match against former champions Sasha Banks, Charlotte Flair, and the physically dominant Nia Jax. In an interview with Comicbook.com, Bayley discussed the monumental event for her career including how she wants her entrance to go. She wants to incorporate a bunch of inflatable Bayley Buddies which is nothing new, except these would be of the worn-by-humans variety.
"You know how Cena had all his people who were dressed like him, wouldn't it be cool if I had people who were wearing the inflatable costumes? Because they do exist. They have come to NXT shows. If I just had a bunch of people who were dressed up as those. You'll have to wait and see, though," said Bayley.
The importance of her first WrestleMania is not lost on Bayley. She said her and her family are excited for the dream come true.
"My family keeps texting me saying I can't believe you're going to be, we didn't even think I'd be a part of Wrestlemania when my family booked the tickets, they were just 'we're going to be there to support you, no matter what. If you're on the show great and if you're not, we'll just hang out during the week.' Now they're like 'not only are you having a match but you're going in as champion!' It's really crazy for it to be in Orlando where it all started for me at Full Sail as a little kid with a dream," said Bayley
Wrestlemania 33 will be held at Camping World Stadium in Orlando, Florida on Sunday. In the rest of the interview, she also discussed her influences from Randy Savage including the process of learning to drop his signature flying elbow.
