Bobby Lashley Dominant At Bellator 162, Improves To 5-0 In Bellator

Bobby Lashley continues to run roughshod through Bellator.

The former TNA and ECW World Champion dominated his opponent Josh Appelt at Bellator 162 in the night's co-main event. Lashley controlled the duration of the first round before gaining back control and choking out Appelt in the second round.

Lashley moves to 5-0 in Bellator, including a victory over James Thompson, who was the last man to hand him a loss.

Round One: The round begins with Appelt nailing Lashley with some leg kicks, Lashley responds by landing some leg kicks of his own. Lashley backs up Appelt by landing a right hook, Lashley grabs Appelt and holds him against the cage wall. Lashley starts using the dirty boxing against Apppelt, the fighters break away from each other and Lashley scores a takedown on Appelt. Lashley starts attacking Appelt with ground and pound upon gaining back control, Lashley gains the full mount while landing more strikes. Lashley regains back control on Appelt while landing more strikes, Lashley transitions to side control and he lands more strikes on him. Lashley then moves to back control on Appelt and he nails him with more strikes. Lashley gains the full mount and he lands even more strikes on Appelt as the round ends.

Round Two: The round begins with Appelt nailing Lashley with some leg kicks, Lashley scores a takedown on Appelt and he gains back control. Lashley starts attacking Appelt with some ground and pound, Lashley transitions to the full mount on Appelt. Lashley goes right back to attacking Appelt with strikes, Lashley gains back control on Appelt and he locks in the rear naked choke to force a tap out.
