Booker T To Miss RAW Tonight Due To Hurricane Harvey, Jerry Lawler To Fill In On Commentary

Hurricane Harvey, the Category 4 storm that has dumped several feet of rain in the Houston Texas area, has uprooted and destroyed the lives of thousands of people. Compared to those heartbreaking stories, something as minor as a change to the RAW commentary team is trivial, but it does appear that Booker T will be missing RAW tonight.

The Houston native Hall of Famer is fine, as is his whole family; Booker T tweeted out this last night:

Kyle O'Reilly On His Recovery From Injury, The Blessing In Disguise Of Getting To Spend More Time With His Family

But the roads are impassible, as you might have seen in pictures like this one Tweeted out by Mick Foley:

So Booker is unable to leave Houston, and as such, will be unable to attend RAW tonight in Memphis, WWE announced on their website. Memphis native Jerry "The King" Lawler, a former RAW color man and Hall of Famer in his own right, will be sitting in on the announce desk with Michael Cole and Corey Graves.

WWE announced that production team members Jim Shank and Pat Cassidy are also stranded in Houston and will miss the broadcast as well.
